The illuminati put the $ before the amount yo, but speaking for myself, I stick the symbol at the very end, with the nationality in 3 caps in the middle, where applicable. Like you say, it's more in keeping w/ speech.
I'm sure my old English teachers would've sneered at my rebellion, but did they know of teh internutz, or that com-peeutyers were going to bookkeep the whole frigging planet? No. Get thee behind me, evil...

No small boating anecdotes? I would've figured out some way to bring up Jaws, "gonna need a bigger boat", thank Gob there wasn't anything chasing in you in the water, and Toobin' minigame wasn't too painful, had a checkpoint.
Toughest thing a let's player has to do, is to turn the text into audioplay, on the fly. Work on some niche voices, take a little fun away from your performance (as best you can, just before sleep). Your ad-libbing is well presented and compelling. Could stand to move the camera in closer or just enlarge the overlay video a bit, if possible.
