Mark up mania, is it a sign of the times? I remember not crazy long ago when the whole aim of the game was to undercut prices in order to move the most merchandise instead of people buying shit with the sole intent of gouging some dupe during resale the very same day.
That IS how it used to be, but for some reason Nintendo has created a market for scalpers. This has been the first major thing they've done to curb scalpers. The people that did buy this game did do so with the intent of gouging the price for resale purposes (because it sure as hell isn't a good game). Hopefully Nintendo keeps reprinting this game.
